If you have any questions about creating your online account, or about ordering, please contact us!

 

1) Create an account:
Create an account by clicking the 'Log in' box in the top right hand corner. Start by entering your email. Followed by your other contact information and address. If you are ordering for a friend, you can either enter their shipping/delivery information OR indicate in the notes section (see step 4) what their address is. 

Note: Please use the best email to contact you, as we will send updates on the status of your order. Also, please include your physical address, not PO box (for local delivery).

2) Browsing:
There are a few different options for how you can search for products. Either enter the author's name, book title or ISBN in the search bar at the top of the screen (magnifying glass in the left corner on the mobile site). Another way is to go to 'browse' and use the filter options to narrow your search. We have a 'Kids' page with children's books, and there is also a 'Games & Puzzle' page which makes shopping a little bit easier!

 

3) Ordering:
Once you have found an item you wish to buy, select quantity and click the green 'add to cart' button. You can continue to add items to your cart, once you are finished shopping either click 'checkout now' or select the little cart icon in the top right corner. 
Confirm the order. Follow the delivery prompts. You can either pick up your order in store during our regular hours, curbside pick-up is also an option. We are open to the public Thursday to Saturday from noon-4pm. However, we are very flexible with arranging a pick-up time outside of our regular hours, contact us for more information. 

Click & Collect: If you do not want to create an account, use the click and collect option to reserve a book and it will be held for you at the store. Note: payment information will not be collected online, and we won't have address information for delivery. We will contact you to notify you that we have the book ready. You may make arrangement for payment/pick up details at this time.
 

4) Notes:
Indicate any additional comments or information in the notes field. Such as delivery instructions or letting us know it's a gift.


5) Payment:

Please select your method of payment for credit card or E-transfer. E-transfers can be sent to info@goldrushbookstore.ca and orders will be processed for delivery as soon as payment is received. Please include in the notes section to charge the card we have for your account. All payment information is encrypted and protected. If you have ordered with us before and do not want to re-enter your credit card info, select E-transfer. If you want to pay with debit or pay at pickup, indicate so in the notes. 


6) Review & Submit: 

Once you have reviewed your order and clicked submit, you will receive an email confirmation. Shortly after we receive your order we will send you an email notifying you the items are on order or ready for pickup/delivery. We will contact you via phone once all of the books (special orders included) are in store.
